During this week, the participants from different institutions will get general overview of Koç University, participating universities and how institutions create a welcoming climate for both students and staff from all backgrounds with thoughtful cross-cultural experiences.

| OIP at KU provides a huge amount of opportunities for students and staff along with research opportunities and cultural awareness. Koç University has successfully secured Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) grant with its partners from Egypt, Vietnam, Russia, Cambodia, Peru, Philippines, Ghana, Uruguay, Ecuador and Costa Rica. As a member of the Internationalization of Turkish Research Universities (ITRU) group, Koç University exhibited at EAIE Conference took place in Geneva, Sweden in September 2018. Last but not least OIP hosted delegations from various universities and institutions such as A*STAR, University of Indonesia, University of Georgia, DGIST, University of Alabama, and Brown University and Global Recruitment Team has increased their scholarship portfolio to increase the number of full-time international students at KU! |

| GLLP: Informing and inspiring the leaders of change |
| Global Learning and Leadership Program (GLLP) is a cocurricular program for Koç University undergraduate students to complement their academic studies with a “hands-on” approach. The comprehensive program aims to enable students to acquire global competence and to develop personal and professional skills to thrive in a 21st century world. A group of GLLP and KUGlobalAid students joined a summer program mixed with Brazilian partners on Leadership Development and Community Building Program in Santos, Brazil under the leadership of Mrs. Rena Polat Korkmaz, the program coordinator. Students experienced the impact of the realization of a collective dream through the Oasis Game, in a challenging environment full with sociocultural and socioeconomic diversity. |

| Peacemakers Bootcamp in Rotterdam |
| Koç University's Erasmus+ KA2 project "Peacemakers" had its first workshop organized in Rotterdam, between November 19-23, with the participation of 20 "Peace Envoys" from Koç, Gaziantep, Bologna and Erasmus universities. Several scholars from these partner institutions delivered lectures on the political, historical, psychological and sociological contexts of international migration. Within the framework of the workshop, the Peace Envoys also had the chance to visit NGOs working in the field and have briefing and Q&A sessions with them. The field visits were to West-Afrika Stichting Migrant Development Association and Rotterdams Ongedocumenteerden Steunpunt (Rotterdam Undocumented Support Center). |
